Acting is a crucial part of a student's learning, as it enables them to become triple threats (skilled in both dance, singing, and acting). We offer acting classes that cover a variety of acting techniques as well as specialty courses focusing on improv skills. (Please note- classes with less than 5 students will be canceled).
All classes run from August 21st, 2022, to May 10th, 2023!
Acting (Ages 12-18)
Description: This Acting Class includes acting skills, character development, and performance methods. Improv and Acting Techniques are recommended companion classes.

Acting (Ages 8-12)

Acting (Ages 4-7)
Instructor: This Acting Class is great for younger kids and teaches confidence, projection, and basic acting skills.

Improv (Ages 10-18)
Instructor: This Improv Class teaches skills through games. Confidence, quick thinking, and team work will be taught and the kids will have the opportunity to perform in Improv Shows.

Improv/Acting Techniques (Ages 8-12)
Instructor: This Class teaches skills through improv games, the 5 following techniques: Stage Combat, Shakespeare, Accents & Projection, Scene Acting, and Monologues. Confidence, quick thinking, and team work will be taught and the kids will have the opportunity to perform in Improv Shows.

Stage Makeup
Instructor: In this class, students will explore the creativity in developing the makeup of different characters for the stage! Students will learn brush technique and care, product knowledge and sanitation procedures. How to create both natural and bold theatrical makeup looks, as well as fantasy and special effect looks using fave paint. We will focus on different characters each week as well as learn and execute face paint designs for upcoming plays.
