Our triple threat performing classes will be a wonderful way for young performers to showcase their best talents and grow in other areas which will include acting, singing and dance. All classes will consist of dance warm-ups, vocal warm-ups, and include musical direction in specific routines either individually or in large groups as per the director’s choice. All classes will perform a friends and family show and several performances throughout the area during the last month of classes. Information will be provided as soon as it’s available. Students will receive a folder with additional information such as additional rehearsal schedules, costuming, class information, and weekly practice information etc. Performing teaches so many important life skills, communication, confidence and creativity while promoting a positive self-image and teamwork in a diverse environment!
Performance groups start January 16th 2024.

ELIZABETH -
Elizabeth is a Cache Valley snow girl that just recently relocated to sunny St. George for her husband to attend Rocky Vista University. She most recently choreographed her favorite musical "Newsies." Her favorite part of musical theater is the dancing because she believes it is what brings the music and emotion to life. She was obsessed with Cinderella as a child and has played Cinderella in 3 different musicals. She loves to help kids to not only learn how to dance but how to love it!

SuperNovas (Ages 13-16)
Meeting Times: Mondays 5-6pm and Fridays 5-6pm on the stage and Mondays 4-5pm and Fridays 3-5pm in the Dance Studio
Price: $130 / month, paid monthly (Includes an Acting Class, a Dance Technique Class, a Group Vocal Class, and a Musical Theatre Class)
Description: Our Super Nova’s will be focusing on the 4 magical elements of performing and musical theater which include songs, spoken word, acting and intermediate-advanced dance including ballroom, jazz and lyrical. Solo routines will be encouraged for those that want to participate. Students will be learning various routines and preparing for a spring show. We encourage extra classes in the area. The students love and want to do more whether that be a dance class, additional theater class or private vocal instruction!
*Requirements: Some dance, performing and/or gymnastic background. A desire to perform and have fun. Enrollment in additional dance classes or private vocal lessons are encouraged.
*Dress Requirements: (Girls) black jazz pants (leggings), leotard (any color), black jazz shoes, black character shoes, hair pulled back. (Guys) black active pants, t-shirt, black jazz sneaker
Rehearsals for shows will require all to wear a Company T-shirt (Provided) along with black pants and the proper shoes for the proper performing number.
Costumes will be determined as per director and will be included in a line up of show as we get ready for our shows!
Make sure you have a dance/tote bag for all your stuff!
